Learning to give back to help a community in need is a fabulous value to impart on our young generation❣️

One of our volunteers has done just that with her granddaughters who for 2 years have sold hot cocoa ☕️ and holiday cookies 🍪 🎄 in order to buy toiletries for those who are homeless. They raised $60! 💰 which will go to our Assist-a-Shelter’s CityTeam San Jose toiletry🧴 program for those in need.

Our grand volunteer says, “It’s totally their idea, not their bubbe’s (grandma’s) although I must admit I’m so proud of them for wanting to help those in need. The kindness 🙏🏼 that was shown by our neighbors and strangers too was truly heartwarming. 🥰
