Assistance League Community Support supplies local nonprofits with clothes, household goods, meals, and services.  Potential partners are identified through requests from nonprofits, referrals from partnering schools or from Assistance League of Santa Monica members.

Our community partners St. Joseph Center and the Bresee Foundation receive donated clothing that our Thrift Shop does not keep, as well as periodic donations of kitchen supplies, bedding, and other household goods. We partner with Upward Bound House to provide residential furnishings for those transitioning out of homelessness.  Through our partner Westside Food Bank we are providing meals toward the goal of ending hunger in our community.  Our newest philanthropy, Growing Side by Side, “develops opportunities to build strong peer-to-peer bonds for those with special needs, their families and their caregivers.”  ALSM helps fund social events provided by this group, which fills a great need in our community.
