July 8 marked a fun event, the annual Wallingford Family Parade. We took part in the event by opening the store early, having an in-store hide-and-seek for the kiddos, and a mini-garage sale–using our very own Thrift Shop garage.

The weather was perfect and our volunteers were full of energy. We sold a number of children’s books, but also lots of other items from our shop and from under our blue tent.

Our customers love our $5 fill-a-bag from our garage event, and we love sending those harder to sell items off to good homes.

It was a great day for the Thrift Shop. Thanks to all who participated and helped with this fun event!
