For first-year teachers, the journey is just beginning. Our aim with this program is to help set teachers up for success from day one.

The ETC Program provides grants up to $500 to new teachers (years one to three) at Title 1 schools in the Seattle School District. These grants help educators create vibrant, engaging classrooms that inspire learning.

Applications are open from June to October, with grants awarded by mid-November. Teachers can apply online, detailing their needs and budget. Recipients must report how the materials enhance their students’ education.
