About Us

Assistance League of San Fernando Valley is a community of hands-on volunteers dedicated to enriching the lives of those in need. Established as a guild in 1989 and a chapter in 1994, Assistance League of San Fernando Valley is the 88th chapter of National Assistance League® of 120 chapters.

Our chapter has approximately 100 members, who volunteered 15,947 hours last year to support and implement six philanthropic programs. Our philanthropic programs are made possible by donations, grants, our thrift shop and two annual major fundraising events. We are all-volunteer organization with no executive director or paid staff. Our Executive Board of Directors is elected annually.
