 1969 Major earthquake put “New To You” Shop out of business
 1969 Renovated building rented and opened as “New To You” Shop on West Sixth Street
 1969 West Sixth Street building purchased
 1972 Sights and Sounds program established

 1980 Celebrity Lecture Series established
 1982 Housing of Medical Emergencies (HOME) established
