Reading Opens the World!

Our eager volunteers have two different opportunities to help so many young students with their reading.

Our longstanding Preschool Reading program not only entertains the little ones with a live reading of a book chosen by their teacher, but they all get to take home a copy of that book…sometimes the first book they have of their very own!

Our new Page Turners program has the third graders read to our volunteers one-on-one for personal help with their literacy growth.  Done over several weeks, clear progress is evident with this personal attention.  Kids who were just learning to read will soon be reading to learn!

Impossible to overrate now important both of these programs are for helping the kids reach their future potential.
