Helping Youth to Succeed
The program serves foster and homeless youth. Through Operation Foster Youth, Assistance League collaborates with local foster care homes and foster family agencies to provide needed assistance. This program service includes assisting foster care homes in providing support for former foster youth to successfully transition into adulthood. Through this program, Assistance League also provides service in the form of the basic essentials of clothing and necessary supplies for children entering the foster care system.
Graduating seniors may choose to get up to $200 toward an ASB card, yearbook, prom ticket, tuxedo and/or Grad night.
In addition, Christmas presents and summer activities for youth are provided through the foster family agencies.
