At our Annual Spring Luncheon and Business Meeting Holly McHone Jewelers was awarded the Operation School Bell® Award. This is a National Assistance League® Award that recognizes a business or an organization that has supported our local chapter.
We have worked in close partnership with this business and its employees since the inception of our chapter fifteen years ago. This centrally located store has provided a key role of support in our fundraising events. We do not have a chapter house or physical office location, so when we need a drop off location for our event ticket sales, poster, flyers or information, the staff at Holly McHone is always willing to be our headquarters. They go above and beyond when needed and act as a central drop off location for coats, shoes and clothing items that need to be picked up for our Operation School Bell® program. This business has also continually supported our fundraisers as a general financial sponsor and has helped us raise the funds needed for this program that has grown to clothe over 700 children a year, in large part due to community support. Our Operation School Bell program uses over 80% of our Philanthropic program budget, so the many ways Holly McHone Jewelers helps us is clearly reflected in our ability to clothe more children. We really couldn’t imagine our operation working as smoothly without this very willing and supportive business. We congratulate Holly McHone Jewelers on this meaningful award. Thanks for all you do!
