ALE Marketing Team gets crafty
We were a small but mighty group Sunday for our Marketing Team outing. We went to Moltenworks in Woodinville, a glass fusing studio, and a fun place for outings and parties. We had as many as 12 people originally trying to go, but due to a variety of crazy life events, Covid-19 concerns, and illness, we ended up with just 3 crafty ladies: Mary Stanfield, Karin Janik, and Kendra Valentine. We all had fun but missed the rest of our team. We plan to schedule additional fun in the future when more people are available.
Mary made an adorable colorful bird garden art piece, Karin made a beautifully intricate (especially for a beginner!) tree for her garden, and Kendra made a trio of smiling jellyfish to adorn her craft room wall. The process is to cut glass pieces using the supplied tools, apply them to a base piece, and then Moltenworks staff puts them in the kiln for the appropriate time, and we get to pick them up in 10 days. Fun!
